Dr. An Nguyen
Dr. Nguyen grew up in Rockledge, Florida. He attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate and graduate studies, and graduated from the UF College of Veterinary Medicine. He is the current owner of Arlington Animal Clinic. Dr. Nguyen’s area of interest is microbiology. He is an associate editor of infectious diseases and immunology for the Veterinary Information Network. He looks forward to providing the Jacksonville area with quality veterinary care.
Dr. Mike Deutsch
Dr. Mike graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. He is the former owner of the “The Zoo Animal Hospital” in Edgewood, New Mexico. He opened Arlington Animal Clinic with his business partner Dr. An Nguyen after spending 6 years as Associate Veterinarian at Normandy Boulevard Animal Hospital on the Westside of Jacksonville. He enjoys spending time visiting dog parks with his 4 dogs, Linus, Mattie, Schnitzel, and Simon. He also enjoys nature photography and travelling with his wife.

Kathryn
Kathryn is a Florida native and resident of Jacksonville for the last 5 years. She is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a BFA in Interior Design. Shortly after college, Kathryn switched career paths and spent the next 20+ years in veterinary medicine. She attributes her time as a veterinary technician at the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville as invaluable.
Since 2010, she has helped open 3 practices, including 1 house call practice in Vilano Beach, and looks forward to the continued success of Arlington Animal Clinic.
Kathryn spent her life a dog person and has recently "seen the light" as a cat mom to too many cats! When not in the office, she enjoys hunting down mid century modern furniture and decor and spending time at the beach paddle board surfing.
Sherri
My name is Sherri. I was born and raised in MN, I was transplanted to FL in July of 2000 with my husband, 3 children, 3 cats and a dog. In 2004 l answered an ad for a receptionist position at a Vets office, the rest is history as they say. I wouldn't change a thing, I LOVE it! My husband Dan and I moved to Jax at the end of 2013 from the SW side of the state. When I'm not at work you can find me gardening and spending time with my husband and our own fur family.
Kristen
My name is Kristen Hayek. I am a Jacksonville native but my family is from New England. I have 2 sons, ages 13 and 19, who are my heart. I love all animals. I have 2 dogs (German Shepherd & Rottweiler), 5 cats, 2 eels, and over 20 fish.
My favorite hobby is tending to my aquariums and doing absolutely nothing on Sundays.
I graduated vet tech school in 2014, but I have worked with animals since age 16.
I am looking forward to serving my community here in Arlington by helping your pets.
Sarah
Hi! My name is Sarah, and I'm from Clearwater, Florida. I graduated from the University of Central Florida. I have been a technician for 5 years now, and I have a tripod chihuahua named Lil Bean at home. When I'm not working, I'm either boating or taking care of my various foster dogs that come through my home. I love the craziness that comes with veterinary medicine but I also love to create bonds with clients and their fur babies.
Hayley
Heyyy… My name is Hayley and I’m a vet tech here at Arlington Animal Clinic. I’ve been in this field for almost 6 years now. Obviously, I have a passion for animals. I have six dogs of mine own and a fat cat. My hobbies are doing arts and crafts with my 7-year-old daughter Lilly, or when I have down time, I enjoy a nice book when I can. I think my favorite part of my job is connecting and building a bond with both the clients and patients.
Emma
Hello! My name is Emma. I am a Jacksonville native, after receiving my Bachelor's degree in anthropology from Florida State university I decided to return home. I have been working with animals for a little over four years now and absolutely love it. I have two kitties of my own at home and one day I hope to adopt a dog from the humane society. On my days off you can find me relaxing on the beach reading or making things at home. I like to crochet and make jewelry in my free time.
