Appointment Policy
Our goal is to provide quality individualized medical care in a timely manner. No-shows, late shows and cancellations inconvenience those individuals who need access to veterinary care. We would like to remind you of the policy regarding missed appointments.
A missed appointment is when you fail to show up for a scheduled appointment, cancel or reschedule same day, or are 15 minutes late.
We strive to be on time for your scheduled appointments, and ask that you give us the courtesy of a call when you are unable to keep your appointment. As a courtesy, we provide reminder texts and emails the days leading up to your appointment. However, you are responsible to remember your appointment regardless. Policies
How to Cancel an Appointment
In order to be respectful of the medical needs of other patients, please be courteous and call or text our office, (904) 743-4567, promptly if you are unable to show up for your appointment. This time will be reallocated to someone who is in need of treatment. If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you call at least 24 hours before. To cancel your appointment, please call or text (904) 743-4567.
What is a "No Show"?
A "no show" is a missed appointment without notice or an appointment cancelled or rescheduled same day. Arriving late by 30 minutes or more for a scheduled appointment is also a "no show".
What Happens After I "No Show"?
After the first no-show, you will be charged a $50 deposit in order to schedule another appointment. If the appointment is kept, the $50 will go towards that day's visit. If the appointment is missed, the $50 is non-refundable. Should you choose not to pay the $50 deposit to reserve your appointment time, you can be placed on our schedule as a work in.
Surgical Appointments
All surgical appointments will require a $250 deposit when the appointment is scheduled. If the surgery appointment is missed, the fee is non-refundable. If the appointment is kept, the fee will go towards the surgery. Surgeries must be canceled at least 2 days in advance.
No-shows will be kept on file and show up as an alert on your account.
