Mouse — Hospital Mascot
Mouse is Chairman of the Board for Arlington Animal Hospital. He is a very feisty 11 year old Chihuahua, who dislikes everybody, but will take a treat from anybody. He loves car rides, bike rides in his bike trailer, boating and beach walks. His greatest love in life is sleeping with his body attached to his humans and getting as many treats as possible in one day.

An Nguyen, DVM — Veterinarian
Dr. Nguyen grew up in Rockledge, Florida. He attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate and graduate studies, and graduated from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Nguyen’s area of interest is microbiology. He is an associate editor of infectious diseases and immunology for the Veterinary Information Network (link). During his free time, he enjoys bicycling, boating and surfing. In 2020, Dr. Nguyen became the new owner of Arlington Animal Hospital. He looks forward to providing the Jacksonville area with quality veterinary care.

Kathryn Parks — Manager
Kathryn is a Florida native. She has been working in veterinary medicine for almost 20 years. She has worked at many clinics, starting in Dallas, then on to South Florida, ultimately landing as a veterinary technician at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville, FL, prior to becoming the practice manager at Arlington Animal Hospital. In her free time, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her Chihuahua (and hospital mascot), Mouse and her new kitty, Henry.

Kristen — Veterinary Technician
Kristen is our Veterinary Technician and comes with over 25 years of experience in veterinary medicine. Born and raised in Jacksonville Beach, Kristen has 2 sons. They have a very full house with a Great Dane named Jack, a German Shepherd puppy named Mei and a brand new Newfoundland puppy named Chante, and 2 new kittens named Tails and Sonic. They also have a Chinchilla and Axolotl. In her spare time, she and her family love to explore NE Florida, fish and take nature walks.
